Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artemis Rhodes (ranked 419 p4p, 1757 weight class) and Radio Raheem (ranked 26 p4p, 107 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes swings widly with a right hand
and Raheem counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rhodes thinking.
Rhodes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Catch Wrestling L.A. in the buildup to the fight.
Rhodes jabs Raheem to the body, keeping him at a distance.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Raheem! But no joy.
Rhodes misses the jab.
Raheem uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rhodes.
Raheem unleashes a big counter combination but Rhodes bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

It looks like Radio Raheem has been cut.

Raheem has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Raheem leaves his chin hanging out and Rhodes seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Raheem crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
