Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Olbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Svendsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kevin Olbo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sven Svendsen! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Svendsen moves in looking to clinch but Olbo pushes him off. Olbo shoots in but Svendsen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Olbo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Svendsen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Olbo's waist but Olbo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Svendsen off to one side. Svendsen rushes Olbo and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Olbo wants to get back to striking at distance but Svendsen won't allow it.
Svendsen wants to stall.
Svendsen lands a right hand. Olbo takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Kevin Olbo has been cut. Svendsen tries to land a knee to the head but Olbo blocks with his arms.
Olbo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Svendsen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Olbo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Svendsen wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Olbo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Svendsen with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

That's one minute gone in the round. Olbo postures up in Svendsen's guard and throws a big left but Svendsen blocks it. Svendsen keeping moving, preventing Olbo from controlling successfully. Olbo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Svendsen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Olbo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Svendsen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Svendsen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Svendsen lands a head kick!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Olbo takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Svendsen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Svendsen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Svendsen tries to bum rush Olbo with a series of wild strikes but Olbo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Svendsen tries to clinch up. Svendsen connects with a high kick. Olbo drives through with a takedown into guard. Olbo wants to stand but Svendsen is controlling his posture from full guard. Olbo trying to control but Svendsen is working from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Olbo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Olbo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Olbo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Svendsen's guard now. Olbo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Svendsen is keeping the position for now. Olbo won't allow Svendsen to get back to his feet. Olbo thows a big elbow that misses. Olbo postures up.
Svendsen is trying to hold Olbo in close to prevent damage but Olbo has managed to pass into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Svendsen tries to clinch but fails miserably and Olbo counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Svendsen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Olbo's guard. Svendsen tries to stand but Olbo is controlling from the bottom. Olbo throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Svendsen lands a couple of elbows. Olbo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Svendsen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Svendsen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Olbo keeping moving, preventing Svendsen from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Olbo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kevin Olbo's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Svendsen wants to clinch up but Olbo keeps it at a distance. Svendsen has his takedown stuffed and Olbo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Olbo works his foot free and advances to mount. Olbo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Olbo looking to control but Svendsen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Olbo landing strikes from the mount. Olbo punishing his opponent with strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olbo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Svendsen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Svendsen! Olbo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Olbo wants to control but Svendsen passes easily into half guard.

Olbo has one foot on Svendsen's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Olbo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The fight stays on the outside here - Svendsen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Olbo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Olbo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Olbo lands a nice short elbow. Olbo is tying to control. Svendsen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Svendsen wants to control but Olbo is keeping busy and won't allow it. Olbo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Svendsen is trying to stand up here but Olbo is controlling him well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Olbo is working for a kimura but Svendsen is defending it quite comfortably.

Kevin Olbo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Olbo gets to his feet. Svendsen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Olbo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Olbo. Olbo keeps the fight on the outside. Svendsen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Svendsen closes the distance but Olbo moves to the side so Olbo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Svendsen working for a triangle but Olbo defends it easily.
Olbo pushes down on Svendsen's leg and manages to get into half guard. Olbo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Svendsen is trying to get back to full guard. Olbo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Svendsen wants to hold on but Olbo pushes him away. Sven Svendsen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Olbo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Svendsen looks a forlorn figure.
Olbo cracks Svendsen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Olbo landing strikes from the mount. Svendsen slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Svendsen flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Olbo wants to control but Svendsen is keeping him busy. Svendsen is defending against the submission attempts here by Olbo.

And that's the end of the fight! Kevin Olbo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Olbo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
