Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eja Igwe (ranked 939 p4p, 1272 weight class) and Jin Matsushima (ranked 76 p4p, 96 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eja Igwe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Jin Matsushima!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igwe darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Matsushima tries to clinch up but Igwe circles away and keeps his distance.
A chopping leg kick lands by Igwe.
Igwe connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Jin Matsushima has been cut.
Matsushima defending well as Igwe loads up on a big left hand.
Igwe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Matsushima.
Igwe was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Eja Igwe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matsushima tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Igwe was well out of range. Poor timing from Matsushima.
Matsushima just misses with a punch to the body.
Matsushima looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Igwe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Matsushima.
Igwe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Matsushima slips under a jab.
Igwe with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Matsushima scores with a crisp jab that stopped Igwe in his tracks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice defenses there by Matsushima.
Matsushima swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Igwe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Matsushima misses with an uppercut.
Igwe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Matsushima.
Igwe waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Matsushima.
A nice side step and Matsushima releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Matsushima has taken the fight to the clinch.
Matsushima doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A head punch on the inside from Matsushima fails to land.
Matsushima tries a body shot but Igwe blocks it.
Igwe prevents a body shot from Matsushima.
Matsushima misses with the head strike.
Igwe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Igwe lands a nice shot to the body.
Igwe ducks under a wild hook from Matsushima.
Igwe is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Igwe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Igwe swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Igwe lands a big head kick that sends Matsushima tumbling to the mat! Igwe takes a step backwards and waves Matsushima back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Igwe lands a big uppercut and Matsushima crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Matsushima looks OK. Igwe waves Matsushima back to his feet!
Matsushima is rocked!
Igwe connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Matsushima out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eja Igwe!
