Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Suns (ranked 25276 p4p, 24794 weight class) and Jae Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Suns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jae Lee!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee ducks under a wild hook from Suns.
Suns takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses.
Suns closes the distance but Lee moves to the side

and Lee counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lee wants to work for an arm triangle but Suns is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Chris Suns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jae Lee.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chris Suns will probably get the nod.
