Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marlon De Los Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Garner William! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - De Los Santos looks like he's thinking about clinching though. William is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. De Los Santos wants to clinch. Nice sprawl there from William as De Los Santos shoots in. William goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. William misses with a body kick. A nice leg kick lands there from De Los Santos. De Los Santos just misses with a punch to the body.
And William tries to counter it with a takedown but De Los Santos pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Los Santos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. William controls from within his opponent's guard. De Los Santos throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Los Santos looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
William won't allow De Los Santos to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Los Santos has a closed guard, preventing William from standing up. De Los Santos can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as William controls the pace. William got a little sloppy there for a moment and De Los Santos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, William has managed to get both his arms back between De Los Santos's legs - danger averted. William must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

De Los Santos has a closed guard, preventing William from standing up. William working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of De Los Santos's head. William makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. William wants to pass the guard but De Los Santos is keeping the position. De Los Santos looking to control.
William slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. It looks like William might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

and William counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by William. De Los Santos is looking to stand back up but William counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by De Los Santos. De Los Santos is trying to maintain the position but William is very close to passing his half guard.

De Los Santos is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. De Los Santos controls William momentarily but William frees himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Garner William dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! De Los Santos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but William defends well and De Los Santos ends up having to push William into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. William pulls guard successfully.

De Los Santos has momentary wrist control but William slips an elbow through the middle. William postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. De Los Santos is trying to control the position but William postures up. William distracts De Los Santos with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! De Los Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. William swivels though and keeps the full guard. William trying to strike off his back.

Garner William showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

De Los Santos misses with a takedown attempt - William sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. William looking for a takedown here - he's got it. William really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Los Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! De Los Santos can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as William controls the pace. De Los Santos is fighting to maintain full guard but William has managed to sneak the leg through. De Los Santos moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. William should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. De Los Santos is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The strikes coming from De Los Santos are missing the target in this wave of attacks. De Los Santos has control of an arm but William manages to advance to De Los Santos's back! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. William gets his hands free as De Los Santos looks to control. Marlon De Los Santos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Garner William is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. De Los Santos turns into William and is now in his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Garner William. Well William has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
