Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 43 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neil Nucombe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 28 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rapido Nadadora!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nadadora throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nadadora walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nadadora throws a right hand that Nucombe ducks under and follows up with a left that Nucombe also avoids with ease.
Nucombe was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Nucombe throws a hook but Nadadora blocks it.
Nucombe swings for the body but Nadadora moves out of range.
Nadadora misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nadadora throws a series of punches but Nucombe avoids them all with ease.
Nucombe seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Nucombe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nadadora staying out of range there.
Nadadora misses with a two punch combination.
Nucombe tries to bum rush Nadadora with a series of wild strikes but Nadadora uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nadadora slips a straight right by Nucombe.
Nucombe throws an off balance right hand
and Nadadora counters with a crisp one two that drops Nucombe! Nadadora thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Nucombe to his feet! Nucombe is in big trouble!
Nucombe is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nadadora cracks Nucombe's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Nucombe slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Nadadora can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rapido Nadadora!
Our winner, Rapido Nadadora, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
