The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Collard holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jones is working for takedown but Collard is calmly controlling the position for now.
Collard pulls Jones into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Collard being controlled here, momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Collard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.
Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
