Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Soo Young Yoo (ranked 3118 p4p, 4508 weight class) and Mitsubasa Midoriya (ranked 215 p4p, 264 weight class). Soo Young Yoo looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mitsubasa Midoriya!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Midoriya looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Midoriya is looking to clinch.
Yoo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Midoriya throws a head kick that misses.
Yoo tries to counter with a takedown but Midoriya is quick to defend against it.
Midoriya fails in his attempt to clinch.
Yoo swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Midoriya throws a combination that misses
and Yoo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Midoriya instigates a clinch.
Yoo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Yoo avoids the elbow strike from Midoriya, against the cage.
Midoriya creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Yoo's defenses.
Yoo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Midoriya clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yoo working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Midoriya rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Midoriya is looking for a sweep. Yoo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Midoriya keeps trying to improve his position.
Yoo is working for a kimura but Midoriya is defending it quite comfortably.
Midoriya really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yoo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Midoriya is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Yoo scores with a couple of nice shots.
Midoriya is pressing down on Yoo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Midoriya is looking for a triangle but Yoo pushes his legs off easily.
Yoo stopping the sweep attempt from Midoriya.

Midoriya manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yoo manages to get himself to full guard.
Yoo pulls Midoriya in to control the position.
Yoo is looking to cinch up a triangle. Midoriya throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Yoo's body to avoid the submission. Yoo has instead reached around Midoriya's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Yoo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Soo Young Yoo!
