Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gabby Peachey (ranked 4331 p4p, 4498 weight class) and JJ King (ranked 255 p4p, 263 weight class). JJ King has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gabby Peachey's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gabby Peachey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, JJ King!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peachey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
King throws a counter combo.
Peachey throws a sloppy body shot
and King counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Peachey tries to break the clinch but King is controlling the position.
King keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Peachey's efforts to push away.
King has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Peachey uses from the top position.
King is adopting a defensive guard.
King throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Peachey distracts King with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Peachey drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and King dives on top into guard.
King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Peachey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
King is fighting to break Peachey's control of his arms but Peachey is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Peachey is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at California Top Team that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

King has gone for a leg lock! Peachey slips out almost immediately though and dives into King's guard.
King is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

King postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Peachey in real trouble here! The ref calls for Peachey to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
