And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 69 wins and 71 losses; Able Archer! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Chai forces Archer back against the ropes and clinches. Chai gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Archer.
Chai jumps guard and drags Archer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Archer sitting in guard, not really doing much. Chai seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Chai is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Archer is working for a rear naked choke. Chai is not defending it well and Archer has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Chai refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Chai's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
