Jcool kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eye of the tiger. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyoto Costa!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jcool on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Costa lands with a shot to the body.
Costa scores with a body shot.
Costa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jcool takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Costa lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Costa is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jcool looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Costa cracks Jcool with an open hand slap.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kyoto Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jcool tries to keep at a distance but Costa has taken the fight into the clinch.
Costa stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Nice body punch from Costa - that landed with a thud.
Costa lands a body shot in the clinch.
Jcool jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Costa walks away with a smile on his face. Jcool gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Oh Jcool is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jcool is breathing heavily.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Costa has cracked Jcool with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Costa lands another huge swinging hook and Jcool tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Jcool, before Costa can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kyoto Costa!
The defeated Abdul Jcool had this to say: '"Everybody out there know I beat him, I controlled the fight, he was missing, I hit him plenty more times. I beat him.Let me talk something... I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I love y'all. I did this for the hood, you know I beat that boy.'.
