Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hideyoshi Yamasaki (ranked 2328 p4p, 5770 weight class) and Dillon Russo (ranked 245 p4p, 457 weight class). Yamasaki comes into the arena with 2Pac - Only God Can Judge Me blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dillon Russo!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamasaki cracks a nice hook into Russo's ribs.
Yamasaki lands a nice looking body shot.
Russo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yamasaki.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Yamasaki, as that shot connected.
Russo scores with the left hand. Yamasaki knows he should have avoided that one.
Russo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Russo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Dillon Russo has been cut.
Russo misses with a takedown attempt
and Russo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Russo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yamasaki was well out of range. Poor timing from Russo.

Russo closes the distance and pushes Yamasaki back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Russo swings wildly with an uppercut but Yamasaki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Russo has Yamasaki pushed against the cage.
Yamasaki trying to land knees to the body.

Russo has a couple of punches blocked by Yamasaki.
A nice left hand lands by Yamasaki.

Yamasaki manages to break the clinch.
Yamasaki throws a lazy right hand but Russo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Russo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nice uppercut lands for Yamasaki. That snapped Russo's head back.
Yamasaki punishes Russo's body with a nice straight punch.
Yamasaki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Yamasaki closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Russo is still on wobbly legs! Can Yamasaki finish him?
Yamasaki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Russo throws a body shot but no joy.
Russo seems to have recovered his senses.
Yamasaki looks to land a combination. Russo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Hideyoshi Yamasaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yamasaki digs a good body shot into Russo's ribs.

Yamasaki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Russo under the eye.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yamasaki uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
BOOM! Yamasaki lands a beautiful left hook that drops Russo. Russo tries to recover but Yamasaki is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Russo lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

After the fight, Hideyoshi Yamasaki was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
