Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zaurbek Temirbekovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Miles Velez!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velez is looking to clinch.
Velez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Temirbekovich avoids it really well and circles away.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Temirbekovich working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Temirbekovich makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Velez tries to pull guard but Temirbekovich forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Temirbekovich lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Velez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Temirbekovich smiles and moves away.
Zaurbek Temirbekovich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miles Velez.

Velez thuds a left hand into Temirbekovich's body.

Velez throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Temirbekovich counters by moving into the clinch.

Velez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Velez fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Velez tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Temirbekovich lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Velez is rocked!
Velez looks winded!
Temirbekovich creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Velez with a big uppercut! Velez tries to clinch up but Temirbekovich pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Velez to the mat! Velez covers up and Temirbekovich unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
