Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Duboulay (ranked 1660 p4p, 2176 weight class) and Jackson Parks (ranked 126 p4p, 157 weight class). Duboulay comes to the cage accompanied by World On Fire. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vincent Duboulay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jackson Parks!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duboulay shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Duboulay showed some decent athleticism there.
Duboulay trying to mount his opponent but Parks defends it.
Duboulay wants to take a breather but Parks is having none of it.
Duboulay is controlling the pace.
Duboulay seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Parks for as long as he can get away with.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Duboulay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Duboulay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Duboulay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parks swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Parks is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Duboulay is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Parks pulls his head out easily.
Parks lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Duboulay tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Parks is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duboulay is just riding it out for now. Parks eventually gives up the hold.

Parks is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Duboulay is trying to escape the mount.
Duboulay tries to hold on but Parks pushes him away.
Duboulay is bucking up trying to escape but Parks cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Duboulay is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Parks is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Duboulay is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well Duboulay has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
