Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy The Iron Hand! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magus Arbenson! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Iron Hand throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Arbenson's waist but Arbenson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Iron Hand off to one side. A head kick misses from Arbenson. Arbenson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. The Iron Hand has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy The Iron Hand. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Iron Hand closes this distance looking for a takedown but Arbenson circles away. The Iron Hand takes a kick to the side of the head. The Iron Hand fails with an attempt to clinch.
The Iron Hand shoots in but Arbenson avoids the takedown attempt easily. A head kick misses from Arbenson. Arbenson throws a head kick that misses. A combination from The Iron Hand does no damage. Arbenson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in The Iron Hand's guard. The Iron Hand looking for a sweep. Not yet The Iron Hand, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arbenson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Arbenson preventing the sweep. Arbenson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Arbenson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Well, if Arbenson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Arbenson moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arbenson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The Iron Hand throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. The Iron Hand is trying to improve his position. The referee asks Arbenson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Arbenson prefers to stall for the moment though. Arbenson trying to control the position but The Iron Hand is working away. The Iron Hand tries to buck Arbenson off but Arbenson is having none of it. The Iron Hand wants to control but Arbenson postures up. The Iron Hand seems a little lost for a moment, as Arbenson dominates the positioning. The Iron Hand is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Iron Hand regains half guard. The Iron Hand is in trouble now - Arbenson has advanced to mount! The Iron Hand is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Arbenson controlling his opponent. The Iron Hand is working to get back to half guard.
Arbenson with a couple of short strikes. Arbenson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, The Iron Hand has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The Iron Hand is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Arbenson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Arbenson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The Iron Hand is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Arbenson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

The Iron Hand is working hard here to advance position. Arbenson controlling the position easily from mount. The Iron Hand is trying desperately to improve position. The Iron Hand tries to hold on but Arbenson pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Magus Arbenson dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
The Iron Hand tries to clinch there but Arbenson circles away.
The Iron Hand scores a takedown into full mount! The Iron Hand swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Arbenson is now in The Iron Hand's guard. A big mistake from The Iron Hand there, giving up the dominant position! Arbenson tries to free his leg and advance position but The Iron Hand is retaining full guard. The Iron Hand looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Arbenson passes into half guard.

The Iron Hand regains full guard. Nicely done. Arbenson thows a big elbow that misses. Arbenson wants to control from the top but The Iron Hand keeps moving. Arbenson is breathing heavily. The Iron Hand working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Arbenson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Arbenson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The Iron Hand not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Iron Hand throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Arbenson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Arbenson forces his way into half guard. The Iron Hand is trying to control but can't.
Arbenson wants to free his trapped foot but The Iron Hand is holding on for dear life with his legs. Arbenson sitting and controlling from the half guard. The Iron Hand is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The Iron Hand tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Arbenson has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The Iron Hand is trying desperately to improve position. Arbenson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The Iron Hand wants to control but Arbenson is having none of it. Arbenson unloads with some shots from mount but The Iron Hand bucks and avoids them well.
The Iron Hand tries to reverse the position but Arbenson maintains control. The Iron Hand looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Iron Hand rolls, trying to escape but Arbenson keeps control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Iron Hand turns into Arbenson and is now in his guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. The Iron Hand fails with the takedown and Arbenson counters with a leg kick. The Iron Hand shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Arbenson counters with a slapping leg kick. Billy The Iron Hand is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The Iron Hand has his takedown stuffed and Arbenson counters with a head kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy The Iron Hand. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Iron Hand showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Arbenson.
The Iron Hand doesn't succeed with the takedown and Arbenson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. The Iron Hand is lucky that one didn't land flush. Arbenson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. The Iron Hand avoids the head kick by Arbenson.
The Iron Hand drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The Iron Hand throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Arbenson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Iron Hand throwing strikes but missing. The Iron Hand trying to control but Arbenson is working from the bottom. The Iron Hand thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The Iron Hand trying to control the position from guard on top but Arbenson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Arbenson is looking for a triangle here but The Iron Hand uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The Iron Hand works to advance to full mount. Arbenson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. The Iron Hand avoids the attempt from Arbenson to control. Arbenson is controlling an arm, preventing The Iron Hand from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Billy The Iron Hand will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
The Iron Hand misses with a takedown attempt and Arbenson counters with a nice kick to the body. The Iron Hand shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Arbenson but Arbenson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Horrible takedown by The Iron Hand or perhaps it was just good defense by Arbenson which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy The Iron Hand. That's going to take a lot out of him. Arbenson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Good leg kick by Arbenson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The Iron Hand gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The Iron Hand is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Arbenson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Arbenson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Arbenson preventing the sweep. Arbenson is sitting in close to The Iron Hand's body. The Iron Hand has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Arbenson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Arbenson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by The Iron Hand.
