Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Jones gets tackled into the cage by Blikstein. Blikstein maintains the clinch. Blikstein tries for a takedown but Jones manages to get underhooks.

Blikstein drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Blikstein looking for a takedown. Dan Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Blikstein. Blikstein is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jones pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jones turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Jones (4) vs (0) Blikstein Jones tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Blikstein is not content to let Jones control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Blikstein is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
