Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cut Copy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Travis Moguillan!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Travis Moguillan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Moguillan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Copy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Moguillan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Moguillan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Moguillan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moguillan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Copy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moguillan's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Copy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Moguillan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Copy has managed to get both his arms back between Moguillan's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Copy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Moguillan is just riding it out for now. Copy eventually gives up the hold.

Moguillan is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Copy pulls his head out easily.
Copy works his foot free and advances to mount.

Moguillan wants to hold on but Copy pushes him away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Copy is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Moguillan has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Cut Copy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Copy is going olschool here, as he tries to force Moguillan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Moguillan shrugs it off.

Moguillan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Copy swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Moguillan is now in Copy's guard. A big mistake from Copy there, giving up the dominant position!
Copy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Copy avoids the attempt from Moguillan to control.
Copy tries to control but Moguillan wriggling away.
Moguillan wants to hold on but Copy pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Copy controlling the pace for now.
Copy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Moguillan looks a forlorn figure.
Moguillan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Copy wants to take Moguillan's back but he can't do it this time.
Moguillan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Moguillan is trying to reverse the position but instead Copy has taken his back - oops!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
