The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Jafar tries to close the distance and clinch but Ward swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ward has control of Jafar's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jafar regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Jafar is trying to escape the mount but Ward keeps good control and instead manages to take Jafar's back.

Ward is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jafar knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jafar for a finish.
Jafar is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ward.

A very excited looking Maxim Ward rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
