This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 26 wins and 35 losses; Richard Morgan! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Marshall Praust!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Ron Honeybunn.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Praust keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Morgan is looking to clinch but Praust is avoiding it.
And Praust tries to counter it with a takedown but Morgan pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Morgan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Praust looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Morgan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Morgan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Praust, who protects the arm well.

Praust stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morgan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Morgan is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Praust still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Praust has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Praust seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Morgan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Praust tries to pass the half guard into mount. Morgan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Morgan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Praust pulls his head out easily.
Praust wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morgan keeps working.
Morgan wants to get back to full guard but Praust has mounted him!

Morgan defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Praust's arms.

Morgan is trying to defend against the choke here but Praust has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Praust Tightens the hold and Morgan taps out furiously! Praust displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
