Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mason Hawkins Jr (ranked 25403 p4p, 4429 weight class) and Richard Cooke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins Jr comes to the cage accompanied by It’s Not Unsual. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Mason Hawkins Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Cooke! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooke has taken the fight to the clinch.
A short uppercut from Cooke. Hawkins Jr jumps guard but Cooke turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Hawkins Jr takes a shot to the head. Cooke lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Hawkins Jr breaks from the clinch.
Cooke jabs Hawkins Jr to the body, keeping him at a distance. Cooke forces Hawkins Jr back against the cage and clinches. Cooke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hawkins Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cooke defends well and Hawkins Jr ends up having to push Cooke into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Hawkins Jr is looking to break free of the clinch but Cooke has double underhooks. A short uppercut from Cooke. Cooke lands with a left to the head.
Hawkins Jr is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cooke throws a head punch that misses. Oh Hawkins Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cooke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cooke takes the fight into the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cooke. Cooke misses with the head strike.
Hawkins Jr seems to have got his legs back now. Hawkins Jr successfully pulls guard.
Hawkins Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cooke doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hawkins Jr is tightening it up a little... Cooke has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cooke reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cooke taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hawkins Jr!
