Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andreas Jes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 24 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dwight Shrute!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jes tests Shrute's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Shrute looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jes throws a combination. Shrute tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jes lunges at Shrute with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Shrute's hand.
Jes stuns Shrute with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jes slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Dwight Shrute seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shrute walks into a jab.
Jes lands a lovely overhand right.
Shrute is rocked!
Shrute takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Shrute is still on wobbly legs! Can Jes finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shrute tries for a takedown but Jes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jes dips to his left and cracks Shrute with an uppercut!
Jes cracks Shrute on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Shrute falls backwards against the cage. Jes follows up with more strikes that drop Shrute to his knees. Jes keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Shrute! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andreas Jes!
