Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Babatunde (ranked 4097 p4p, 5129 weight class) and Maximus Pace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babatunde jabs at Pace's body.
Babatunde slips under a jab from Pace.
Pace fails with the takedown.

Pace has managed to clinch.
Babatunde tries to break the clinch but Pace is controlling the position.
Pace is trying to pull guard but Babatunde turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Pace gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Babatunde regains guard.

Babatunde manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Babatunde feints a jab promting Pace to slip. Babatunde then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pace slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Babatunde throws a solid leg kick but Pace takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Babatunde.

It looks like Maximus Pace has been cut.

Pace drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Babatunde is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Pace is still on wobbly legs! Can Babatunde finish him?
