Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Belnick Kicker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinto has chosen Three 6 Mafia featuring Akon & Jim Jones - That's Right as his entrance music. Javier Pinto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Belnick Kicker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Javier Pinto!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kicker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Pinto has managed to clinch.

Kicker has hold of one of Pinto's legs. Pinto is fighting the takedown attempt but Kicker gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Kicker forces his way into half guard.

Kicker wants to work for an arm triangle but Pinto is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kicker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kicker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kicker is fighting to break Pinto's control of his arms but Pinto is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pinto is on top in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pinto perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Let's hope that Pinto has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Pinto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Pinto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
