Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonny Hones!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albertini stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Albertini wants it to stay on the feet.
Albertini was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Albertini fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hones is out of range.
Hones changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Hones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Albertini sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hones walks into a straight right hand from Albertini.

Hones rushes Albertini and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Albertini drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hones gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Michele Albertini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Hones.
Hones has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Albertini uses from the top position.

Hones throws a sloppy head kick and Albertini moves out of range easily.
OH! Hones has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Albertini smells blood and charges in for the finish! Albertini unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Hones sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
