Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isai Malaki (ranked 3426 p4p, 3367 weight class) and Riziki Bara (ranked 382 p4p, 378 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Isai Malaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Riziki Bara! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malaki fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A nice inside leg kick there by Malaki. That's going to slow Bara down. Malaki scores with a hook. Malaki takes a swing at Bara's ribcage but misses. Malaki moves into the clinch. Bara's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Bara dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Bara is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Malaki is keeping busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee is keeping an eye on Malaki - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Malaki digs a right hand underneath Bara's ribcage. Bara let out a lung full of air as it connected. Malaki leaning against his opponent.
Bara trying to control the position but instead, Malaki has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bara into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Malaki. A right hand to the body from Malaki.

Malaki lands a body shot. Bara is trying to maintain a safe position but Malaki gets an underhook and turns Bara into the cage. Malaki stalling.

Malaki makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Malaki lands a hook that snaps the head of Bara backwards. Malaki works on Bara's body with a couple of short punches.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Malaki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A nice right hand lands inside from Malaki. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Malaki throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Baras head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Malaki. Malaki works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Bara looks winded! Malaki lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bara backwards. A short uppercut from Malaki. A battle for position here, against the cage. Malaki gets through Bara's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Malaki lands with a short shot to the head. Malaki scores with a shot to the side of Bara's head. Malaki lands a body shot in the clinch.

Malaki lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Malaki lands a shot to the body. Malaki lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bara backwards. Malaki lands a right hand. Nice body punch from Malaki - that landed with a thud.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Malaki presses Bara against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Malaki manages to break the clinch.
Malaki closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A body shot lands from Malaki.
Malaki lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Malaki lands a hook that snaps the head of Bara backwards. Malaki working some nice short punches in the clinch. Bara is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Malaki. Malaki scores with a shoulder strike. Malaki is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Malaki sends Bara crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Malaki is motioning to the referee to let Bara up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Riziki Bara has been cut. Malaki drops Bara with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bara! Malaki dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
