Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alonzo Wagner (ranked 2539 p4p, 21080 weight class) and Daniel Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wagner's entrance music is Coma. A fine choice. Daniel Mendoza told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Mendoza misses its intended target.
Wagner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mendoza uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wagner.
Wagner drops his hands momentarily and Mendoza takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mendoza fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wagner on the side of the head.
Mendoza lands a jab to Wagner's midsection.
Wagner just misses with a punch to the body.
Wagner darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Wagner is trying for a kimura here. Mendoza looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Wagner wins by kimura!
