Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mursk Apuro (ranked 1530 p4p, 2231 weight class) and Corner Mcgregar (ranked 199 p4p, 273 weight class). Mursk Apuro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mursk Apuro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corner Mcgregar!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apuro rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mcgregar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mcgregar misses with a straight left.
Apuro misses with an uppercut
and Mcgregar counters with a nice body shot.
Mcgregar tries to keep at a distance but Apuro has taken the fight into the clinch.
Apuro pushes Mcgregar back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Mcgregar lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Apuro backwards.
Apuro drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mcgregar pulls his leg out and moves away.
Apuro scores with a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Apuro works the jab nicely.
Mcgregar misses with a right hand
and Apuro counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mcgregar wants to get back to his feet but Apuro passes into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mcgregar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Apuro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Apuro is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Apuro throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Apuro throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Apuro thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mcgregar's head.
Well, if Apuro is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Apuro seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mcgregar for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Apuro looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Mcgregar is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Apuro scores with a couple of nice shots.

Apuro takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Mcgregar looks winded!
Apuro slips a nice elbow through Mcgregar's hands, connecting with Mcgregar's forehead.
Apuro is taking a breather. Mcgregar says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Apuro lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Mcgregar quite badly. Mcgregar pulls Apuro in close trying to recover. Apuro postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Mcgregar on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Mcgregar doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mursk Apuro!
Mursk Apuro took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Sakura Style for their support in the buildup to the fight.
In defeat, Corner Mcgregar stepped up to the mic, saying 'Your woife is in me dms!!'.
