Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Remote Control (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Control.
Fernandes shoots in looking for a takedown. Control tries to sprawl out of it but Fernandes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Control manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Control keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Control missing with a left hand there. Fernandes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A combination from Control does no damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fernandes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Control accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fernandes has hold of Control's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Control manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
