This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 100 wins and 66 losses; Bogdan Kersikov! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 29 losses; Bjj Catch Wrestler!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Atkins.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Kersikov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Catch Wrestler tries to avoid it but Kersikov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Catch Wrestler to the ground. Catch Wrestler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Catch Wrestler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kersikov but Kersikov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kersikov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Catch Wrestler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kersikov somewhat.

Catch Wrestler throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kersikov was covering up waiting for the punch and Catch Wrestler finishes the takedown easily into guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Kersikov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
