And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 43 wins and 27 losses; Roman Kersikov!

Juncker tries for a takedown but Kersikov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

It looks like Kersikov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Kersikov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kersikov is taking a breather. Juncker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Kersikov really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Juncker's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
Juncker just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Juncker's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Juncker has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Kersikov's body.
