The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.

Notturna tries to control Kulik's body but Kulik pushes him off. Notturna squirms to his side and now Kulik has his back!

You can see the frustration on Notturna's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
What can Notturna do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Notturna surviving as best he can, preventing damage.

Notturna tries to roll but Kulik sticks to his back.
Kulik is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Kulik has one arm under Notturna 's neck. Notturna is controlling the other arm well. He's just looking to survive right now. Kulik manages to get his arm free though and Notturna is in a world of trouble! Kulik sinks in the hooks and squeezes! Notturna turns purple and then goes limp. The referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 11:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Vasiliy Kulik!
