Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ross Morrow (ranked 1342 p4p, 1473 weight class) and Freaky Trevor (ranked 129 p4p, 140 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ross Morrow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Freaky Trevor!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trevor closes the distance and clinches.
Morrow throws a punch but it's blocked by Trevor.
Morrow is pushing Trevor up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Morrow stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Trevor successfully pulls guard.
Trevor not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Trevor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morrow gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morrow looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trevor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morrow gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Trevor looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Trevor wants to sweep but no luck.
Morrow is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Trevor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Morrow is one step ahead there.

Trevor controls Morrow momentarily but Morrow frees himself.

Morrow slips nicely into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Trevor has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Morrow escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Morrow!
Morrow wants to stand but Trevor is controlling his arm.

The fighters circling - Morrow throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Trevor gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Freaky Trevor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Morrow tests Trevor's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Morrow avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Morrow throws out a loose jab but Trevor uses good head movement to avoid it.
Trevor steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Morrow.
Morrow fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Trevor jumps guard and drags Morrow to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Trevor throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Morrow is on top in guard.
Morrow is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trevor can do to turn this around?

Trevor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Trevor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Trevor slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Freaky Trevor has got the better of the ground game so far.

Trevor gets control of Morrow's arms and successfully pulls guard. Trevor will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Trevor is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Morrow has his hands clasped together but Trevor extends and breaks Morrow's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Trevor.
