Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murphy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Murphy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hong backwards.

Hong has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Murphy is trying to keep an underhook but Hong manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Murphy tries to roll over but Hong keeps him under control.
Hong lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Murphy tries to get to full guard but Hong has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hong is pressing down on Murphy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Murphy is holding on for now.
Murphy trying to hold on to Hong's head to control him but Hong postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murphy won't allow Hong to pass to mount.
Murphy tries to roll over but Hong keeps him under control.
Hong trying to pass the guard but Murphy defending well.

Hong is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Murphy is just riding it out for now. Hong eventually gives up the hold.

Murphy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hong pulls his head out easily.
Murphy is looking for a sweep. Hong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Murphy keeps working.
Murphy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Murphy wants to control but Hong is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hong is looking to advance position but Murphy won't allow it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hong seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Murphy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hong lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Murphy keeping hold of Hong's head, controlling as best he can.
Murphy manages to get to full guard.
Hong trying to control but Murphy is working from the bottom.

Murphy looking for a guillotine here but Hong defends easily.
Murphy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Murphy tries to get out of the position.
Hong makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Murphy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hong is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Hong is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Murphy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hong is looking to defend but Murphy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hong! Murphy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hong taps out and this one is all over!
