Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rhys Cadwgan (ranked 3614 p4p, 4011 weight class) and Roman Vitali (ranked 399 p4p, 434 weight class). Cadwgan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Squeeze the Fruit - The Commodores. Vitali has chosen ULKENDER - Machenskii as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Roman Vitali has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roman Vitali!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Vitali.
Cadwgan throws a jab but it's blocked by Vitali.
Vitali fails in his attempt to clinch.
It looked like Cadwgan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Vitali tries to close the distance and clinch but Cadwgan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cadwgan throws a body shot but no joy.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Vitali! But no joy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vitali looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Vitali with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cadwgan to score with a decent uppercut.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee asks Vitali politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Vitali prefers to stall for the moment though.

Roman Vitali showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Cadwgan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Vitali is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cadwgan.
