Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Montrese Andersson (ranked 1020 p4p, 1887 weight class) and Andrew Kelvin (ranked 117 p4p, 200 weight class). Andersson comes into the arena with Wax -- Who Is Next blaring out of the sound system. Andrew Kelvin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Montrese Andersson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andrew Kelvin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

As Kelvin tries to get set, Andersson tries to push him back and clinch up but Kelvin manages to avoid the attempt.

Andersson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Andersson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Andersson passes into side control, despite Kelvin's attempt to control the position.
Kelvin felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Andersson cracks Kelvin with a big right hand but Kelvin just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That was a close second round but I would say that Montrese Andersson will probably get the nod.

I think Kelvin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
