And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Greight Ness!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Laurez misses.
Ness misses the shot to the body.
Laurez blocks a jab.
Laurez swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Laurez misses the body punch
and Laurez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ness swings widly with a right hand
and Laurez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ness fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laurez throws a nice inside leg kick.
Greight Ness seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ness has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Laurez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ness throws out the jab.

and Laurez counters with a nice right hand that sends Ness toppling to the canvas! Ness scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Laurez finish him?!

Ness avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ness! But no joy.
Ness is still on wobbly legs! Can Laurez finish him?

and Laurez scores with a counter punch that sends Ness to the canvas! Laurez smells blood - he's punishing Ness with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Ness has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
