Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Micky Gutz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leroy Dukes!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukes looks to land a left hand but Gutz moved out of range nicely.
Gutz moves away from the strike by Dukes.
It looked like Gutz wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Gutz blocks a jab.
Gutz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dukes misses with a hook.
Dukes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gutz.
Gutz lands with an overhand left.
Gutz tests Dukes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gutz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gutz connects with the punch.
Nice straight punches there by Gutz. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gutz.
Dukes is rocked!
Dukes lands a jab to the nose.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gutz throws a body shot but no joy.
Dukes lands a big head kick that sends Gutz tumbling to the mat! Dukes takes a step backwards and waves Gutz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Micky Gutz has been cut.
Gutz cracks Dukes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dukes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Gutz finish him?
Dukes is still on wobbly legs! Can Gutz finish him?
It looks like Leroy Dukes has been cut.
Gutz is stalking Dukes. Dukes circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Gutz, and it's lights out! Dukes really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
