The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Vakhvakhishvili shoots in and drives through. Mondragon sprawls well. Mondragon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Vakhvakhishvili has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Vakhvakhishvili throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mondragon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat.
