And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Jerry Hammerstein!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Gracie doesn't have the hooks in and Hammerstein manages to turn into his guard.

Hammerstein is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gracie working for a triangle but Hammerstein defends it easily.
Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hammerstein defends it easily.
Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hammerstein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hammerstein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie has his foot on Hammerstein's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hammerstein works his way back into a safe position though.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hammerstein gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hammerstein has hold of Gracie's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Gracie seems comfortable defending it but Hammerstein has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Gracie is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Gracie is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hammerstein couldn't care less - he's delighted!
