Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Horus Anubis (ranked 24271 p4p, 24442 weight class) and Zap Pushkin (ranked 571 p4p, 580 weight class). Horus Anubis is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Horus Anubis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zap Pushkin!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pushkin forces Anubis back against the cage and clinches.
Pushkin misses with the head strike.
Anubis scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Pushkin digs a right hand underneath Anubis's ribcage. Anubis let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Pushkin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Anubis throws a lazy uppercut
and Anubis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Anubis.
Anubis on the wrong end of a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pushkin slips under a jab.
Pushkin tries to move into range but Anubis moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Anubis throws a right hand that Pushkin ducks under and follows up with a left that Pushkin also avoids with ease.

Oooooh!!! Pushkin has knocked Anubis down with a huge combo! Pushkin steps away and waves a wobbly Anubis back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Horus Anubis has been cut.
Anubis scores with a jab. Pushkin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
We've been hearing reports that Anubis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Pushkin takes one on the button.
Pushkin moves out of range of the strikes.
Pushkin is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anubis throws an overhand right that lands on Pushkin's shoulder, as Pushkin tries to avoid the shot.
Pushkin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Anubis.

Pushkin darts in and clinches Anubis up against the cage.

Anubis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pushkin to keep the fight standing.

Anubis jumps guard but Pushkin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Horus Anubis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anubis tries to pull guard but Pushkin won't allow it.
Pushkin is pressed up against the cage. Anubis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pushkin down to the mat. Pushkin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Anubis smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Horus Anubis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab lands there for Pushkin.
Anubis connects with a nice looking jab.
Anubis shoots for a double leg takedown but Pushkin sprawls well. He's pushed Anubis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Anubis dives in for a single leg takedown but Pushkin sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Anubis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pushkin moves away.
Anubis cracks Pushkin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Anubis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pushkin flicks out a counter leg kick but Anubis steps away.
Pushkin has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Anubis throws a jab but it's blocked by Pushkin.
Anubis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A big left from Anubis misses.
Pushkin appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Pushkin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Pushkin staying out of range there.
Anubis is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Pushkin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pushkin scores with a sloppy right hand. Anubis should have avoided that one.

and Pushkin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Anubis thows a left - swing and a miss!
A little jabbing left from Pushkin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Anubis connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Anubis throws a sloppy body shot
and Pushkin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pushkin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Anubis.
Pushkin throws the left hand but Anubis avoids the punch easily.

Pushkin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Anubis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Zap Pushkin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pushkin is looking to clinch but Anubis is avoiding it.

Pushkin stuffs the takedown attempt from Anubis. Anubis gets slowly back to his feet.

and Pushkin counters with a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pushkin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Anubis. Anubis circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Anubis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Anubis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pushkin doesn't seem bothered though.
Pushkin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pushkin tries to clinch but Anubis moves out of range.
Pushkin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Anubis to score with a decent uppercut.
Anubis feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pushkins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Good exchange - Pushkin coming out on top.
Anubis throws a combination. Pushkin tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Anubis throws a combination that misses
and Pushkin counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Anubis badly! Pushkin follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Anubis out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Pushkin finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Zap Pushkin!
A relieved looking Zap Pushkin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
