The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shay swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A quick step to the side and Pederson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pederson shoots in for a double leg but Shay sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shay scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Shay looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Shay walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Deanthony Pederson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shay creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Pederson's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Pederson drops to his knees and Shay pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
