And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 15 losses; Walter Wiener! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Wiener instigates a clinch. Krnacova has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wiener avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Wiener gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Krnacova (0) vs (2) Wiener The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Krnacova wants to sweep but no luck. Wiener engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Krnacova wants to control the position but Wiener says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Krnacova is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wiener is taking a breather. Krnacova says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
