Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alden Horn (ranked 5633 p4p, 25471 weight class) and Aiden Pearce (ranked 302 p4p, 312 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Alden Horn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aiden Pearce!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Skip Squint and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearce throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Horn drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Horn stopping the sweep attempt from Pearce.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Pearce manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Pearce fails to pull guard.
Pearce has had enough of the clinch but Horn keeps him there for the moment.

Horn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pearce wants to clinch up but Horn keeps it at a distance.
Pearce is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Horn closes the distance and pushes Pearce back into the cage.

Pearce is fighting off a takedown attempt but Horn is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pearce to the mat. Pearce regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pearce has his hands on Horn's head, controlling the position.

Horn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pearce on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Pearce is working an open guard so Horn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Horn throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Pearce is rocked!
Horn jabs at Pearce's body.
Pearce is still on wobbly legs! Can Horn finish him?

Horn closes the distance looking for a takedown. Pearce stuffs it but Horn still has hold of him. Horn picks Pearce up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Horn slams Pearce to the floor and that's really hurt Pearce - he doesn't know where he is! Horn throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
