This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Leg Humpa! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Humpa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gordon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Humpa tries to clinch there but Gordon circles away.
Gordon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gordon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Gordon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. Humpa tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gordon looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Gordon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gordon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gordon engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Gordon wants to pass the guard but Humpa is keeping the position. Humpa working for a triangle but Gordon defends it easily.

That's ten minutes gone in the round. Humpa slips nicely into half guard. Gordon is not content to let Humpa control the position. Gordon tries to get to full guard but Humpa has control of the leg. Humpa is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Gordon is trying to get back to full guard. Humpa is trying to work for a kimura but Gordon is defending well.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gordon showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
