And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 5 losses; Robert Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Kelly moves into the clinch successfully.

Kelly turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Kelly advances to mount.

Choke has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Kelly jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Choke manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Choke prevents Kelly from moving into mount.
Choke is looking to regain half guard here but Kelly keeps moving and retains side control.
Kelly trying to control the position but Choke is working away.
Choke stops Kelly from passing to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Choke is looking to reverse the position.
Kelly tries to advance to mount but Choke denies him.

Kelly tries for a kimura but Choke is defending well.

Choke tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kelly wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Choke is not content to let Kelly control the position.
Choke tries to buck Kelly off but Kelly is having none of it.

Kelly is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Choke is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Choke is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kelly's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Choke is looking to improve his position.

Kelly is trying to work for a kimura but Choke is defending well.
Kelly trying to control from half guard but Choke is working away.

Kelly tries to pass to full mount but Choke defends it.
Choke wants to get back to full guard.

Kelly throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Choke has his hands clasped together but Kelly breaks the hold and Choke is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Kelly!
