Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Magomedov (ranked 25678 p4p, 5017 weight class) and Boba Tee (ranked 388 p4p, 326 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vladimir Magomedov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boba Tee!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magomedov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magomedov trying to control from half guard but Tee is working away.
Tee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tee can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tee is trying to stand back up but Magomedov is controlling him
Magomedov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tee tries to roll over but Magomedov keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Tee lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Tee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tee wants it to stay on the feet.
Magomedov shoots in for a takedown but Tee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that Vladimir Magomedov will probably get the nod.

Tee closes the distance and clinches up with Magomedov, looking for a takedown. Tee pushes Magomedov against the cage but Magomedov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Magomedov attempts a counter takedown but Tee avoids it well and moves away.

Tee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Vladimir Magomedov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Tee clinches up with Magomedov and pushes him back against the cage.
Magomedov wants to take the fight to the mat but Tee manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Tee blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Magomedov is trying to break free.
Tee is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Magomedov is looking to control Tee's arms but Tee gets an underhook and turns him. Now Magomedov has his back to the cage.

Tee tries to pull guard but Magomedov holds him up against the cage and eventually Tee drops back down to his feet.

Tee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Magomedov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tee gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Magomedov tries to pull guard but Tee won't allow it.

Tee wants the takedown. Magomedov is fighting it off but Tee persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Magomedov's guard against the cage.

Tee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Magomedov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Magomedov somewhat.

Boba Tee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Tee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Magomedov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Magomedov's back!

Even with his hooks in, Tee manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Tee has Magomedov flattened out and is raining down punches.
Magomedov is trying to get back to his feet but Tee has full control of the position and if anything, Magomedov has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Tee seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Magomedov's chin but Magomedov turns very nicely into Tee's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Magomedov.
