The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn thows a body shot but no joy. Quinn shoots in and bounces Magalis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Magalis wants to stand but Quinn is controlling the position. Quinn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magalis wants to stand and escape but Quinn is having none of it. Quinn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Quinn wants to control from the top but Magalis keeps moving. Quinn advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn works to advance to full mount. Magalis defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Quinn dominating with strikes here. Quinn is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Magalis is surviving well by controlling Quinn's body position as best he can. Quinn wants to finish this one by submission but Magalis is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Quinn. Quinn is breathing heavily. Magalis wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Quinn.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magalis wants to try and get back to his feet. Quinn looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Magalis is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Magalis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Quinn to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Magalis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Quinn pulls down on the head and he's put Magalis to sleep! This one is all over!
