Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alejandro Laguera (ranked 4489 p4p, 3523 weight class) and Jin Sakai (ranked 270 p4p, 237 weight class). Jin Sakai is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jin Sakai!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laguera's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Laguera duly obliges.
Laguera misses with a hook.
Laguera swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sakai counters with a takedown into side control.
Sakai controls the position.
Sakai should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Laguera is trying to get back to his feet.
Sakai moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Laguera is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Laguera tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Sakai biding his time, controlling Laguera.
Laguera wants to get back to his feet.
Laguera is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Sakai sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Laguera has no choice but to tap and Sakai jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jin Sakai!
