Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darcy Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juan Carlos!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Walsh scores with a head kick.

Walsh takes the fight into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Carlos's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Carlos has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Carlos looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Carlos tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Walsh avoids it.
Walsh stops a takedown attempt from Carlos.

Carlos decides to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carlos wants to stand and escape but Walsh is having none of it.
Walsh wants to stand but Carlos is controlling his posture from full guard.
Carlos has control of Walsh's left arm, preventing Walsh from doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walsh is stalling in the full guard.
Carlos is controlling Walsh's posture.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Carlos kicks Walsh off and gets to his feet.
Walsh stuffs the takedown.
Walsh throws a big counter combination but Carlos scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Walsh lands a high kick!
Carlos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walsh as he jumps to the side.
Darcy Walsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Carlos.
Walsh keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Walsh misses with a double jab.
Carlos throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Walsh counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Carlos gets a takedown into half guard.

Walsh wants to get back to full guard but Carlos has passed into side control.
Carlos controlling from side mount.
Let's hope that Carlos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Walsh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carlos on the ground.
Walsh is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Carlos asserts his dominance and retains side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Carlos content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Carlos has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Walsh throws a head kick that misses.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Carlos with a lazy takedown attempt
and Walsh counters with a two punch combo.
Walsh lands a big head kick that sends Carlos to the canvas! Walsh follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
