Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Xu (ranked 2562 p4p, 3329 weight class) and Raiju Trovao (ranked 260 p4p, 335 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Xu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tommy Richman - MILLION DOLLAR BABY. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Raiju Trovao!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xu thuds a left hand into Trovao's body.
Xu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Trovao pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A lazy left from Xu finds it's target.
That kick from Trovao tenderised Xu's leg. Xu is trying to keep his angry face on.
Trovao connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Xu takes one on the button.
Xu swings for the body but Trovao moves out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Trovao. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Trovao.
Xu scores with the left hand. Trovao knows he should have avoided that one.
Trovao buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Trovao misses with a kick to the body.
Trovao takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Xu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Xu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Trovao connects with a good right hand that stumbles Xu. Xu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Trovao misses with an uppercut.
The fighters circling - Trovao throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Xu tries to move into range but Trovao moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Xu. Trovao does a little dance to reset his feet.
It seemed like Trovao was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Trovao looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

It looked like Xu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Trovao ducks right into an uppercut from Xu.
Xu takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Xu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Trovao moves into the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Trovao.

Xu pulls Trovao into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Xu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Trovao defends it easily.

Xu is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Trovao rolls with it to try and escape but Xu cranks on the arm and Trovao is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
